Home Boarding
Your dog will stay in my home as part of the family, alongside my three friendly companions, Bear, Monty, and Lola. Before any stay, I offer a free meet and greet, followed by a carefully planned introduction to ensure your dog settles in comfortably with the pack.
Boarding with us means a loving, family environment where your dog enjoys cosy sleeping areas, plenty of play, cuddles, and enrichment throughout their stay. From wide-open walks to relaxing on the sofa, your dog will feel right at home.

I offer a complimentary meet and greet for all new clients, it's a chance for us to get to know each other ahead of your dog walking or boarding with us to make sure we are the perfect fit for your family.

I founded We are Barkers through a lifelong obsession for animals! I walk and board dogs at my family home. I am licensed with Gedling council - 25/00600/ANHOME, fully insured and DBS checked.
I offer a warm, secure and friendly environment on my walks and in my home for any of our boarders. I have owned and worked with animals from being a teenager, and have recently returned to animal care which is something I love, in the past twelve months
I offer a calm, secure and friendly environment on my walks and in my home for any of our boarders. All boarders have full access within the house, and have my own three lovely dogs for companionship throughout their stay. all of whom love new friends! I have owned and worked with animals from being a teenager, and have recently returned to animal care which is something I love, in recent years.
I have experience of all kinds of dogs, young and old and am calm and patient with those that can be reactive or a little anxious particularly if its their first time away from their family.
Ahead of any stay I offer a free meet and greet to make sure we are the right fit for your pet, and to reassure you that your pets are in good hands. We have a full gallery on our social media pages showing lots of happy dogs having fun on walks.

A typical day starts at around 6am and the day includes plenty of time in our large secure garden, socialisation and a good amount of downtime. We have plenty of space at home for separation if it is needed. I do two walks a day, one in the morning for an hour and short walk early evening to help everyone settle for the night. My own dogs have a little bedtime routine and head off their room at 9pm ish! We can accommodate separate sleeping areas, although we have found that most dogs like to bed down with my little ones while staying.

We have a newly decorated doggie den in our house with comfy beds and chairs for the dogs to have their downtime, access to this is open all day for them to wander in and out as they please.
